Bonds of Brotherhood to
a Strong Alumni Network
The Notredamians Society of Jagannath University was founded in 2019 as a voluntary, non-political, and non-profit organization for students and alumni who share a common bond — having studied at Notre Dame College before joining Jagannath University. From its earliest days, the society’s core mission has been to foster unity, collaboration, and
mutual support among members while contributing to the wider community through social welfare and cultural initiatives.
The idea for the society emerged from a group of Notre Dame College alumni studying at
Jagannath University, who felt the need for a platform to stay connected, share
experiences, and work together for social good. Their vision was to build an enduring
network that upheld the values learned at Notre Dame College and carried them forward
into their university life and beyond.

At its inception, the society began with only a handful of members. Through consistent
outreach, events, and meaningful activities, membership grew significantly over the years.
